Roche Group - Hospitality

For an organisation such as Roche Group, the step into the hospitality sector was a natural progression. The key in this sector is being able to relate to people at various levels as well as the ability to present a top quality product and service.

Our first step into this arena came in the form of The Old Stand Bar. The building has been a bar for over 100 years and when we purchased it, it bore all of the hallmarks of a building that old. Following our purchase the building was virtually demolished, leaving only the original stone walls standing. What followed was an ambitious and extensive makeover and extension. The building is now unrecognisable in comparison to what it was before. The building consists of 3 separately themed bars. Since then we have purchased, renovated and opened another bar and 2 restaurants. Our restaurants are based on simple food, cooked well and served with a genuine smile in comfortable surrounding. To date all of these properties have been a huge success but our next step will be our most ambitious in this sector yet. In 2010 we will commence the contsruction of our first hotel. The 65 bedroom hotel with conference centre, ballroom, fitness centre, beauty therapy & health spa, bar and restaurant will be located with the backdrop of Curraghchase National Park, 777 acres of unspoilt  forest , lakes and trails. . It will be the ideal location for a relaxing spa break, a comfortable bed for the travel weary businessman (or woman), an activity based holiday, conference, wedding or just to get away from it all. As an added bonus the location sits as the centre point between some Irelands best golf courses in Adare, Ballybunion, Lahinch and Killarney among others.
